Just teleported in: the Diablo 3 Wizard
Diablo3 will also have a pure caster: the Wizard. Not some old fellow with a beard but a cocky youngster with loads of magical firepower. You can find more background information about the Wizard on the official Diablo 3 website. The Wizard's talents are very diverse and look great. Distributed among the three skill trees below you will have 55 great skills at your disposal!
The Storm Wizard
A Wizard using skills from the Storm tree can control the storm elements. These include lightning, ice and wind and can be used both for offensive or defensive.
The Conjuring Wizard
Both offence and defence will come from spells from the Conjuring tree. Probably best described as unearthly powers coming from other dimensions. Deadly nonetheless
The Arcane Wizard
Spells from the Arcane tree are more or less common knowledge for Wizards. A lot of different types of powerfull magic not related to the elements but using other magical powers. Sounds like Abracadabra to me.
